As a Sales Development Representative you will focus on generating new business opportunities for the company by strategically identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers for sales demos. You will be responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline to convert new prospects to demos for the Enterprise & Commercial SaaS data sales team.

  • This position is 100% remote.

Job Description
  • Weekly goal is to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the sales team, both commercial and enterprise, to create a sales pipeline that is driving a constant flow of revenue over 30, 60, 90 and 120 days ongoing.
  • Contacting and qualifying potential customers via email, phone, and chat on the website on a daily basis to drive leads into the sales funnel
  • Manage leads through the sales pipeline and acting as a liaison between the Sales Account Executives and the prospect.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads, on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Track progress towards meeting new activity and demo weekly sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop outreach strategies for reaching new sales leads targets
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software, Salesforce, to manage leads and sales activities. Provide detailed task documentation for activities, including keeping up to date notes, tasks and syncing proper contacts and business data for account lead management.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
  • Opportunities to attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads periodically as assigned by manager
  • Provide regular reports on sales prospecting activities and results to management.
  • Promote the DrivenIQ brand using social media and other platforms online; content must be pre-approved by marketing team. Go Getter’s & out of the box thinkers are welcomed.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly sales call and lead volume goals, that leads to demos, appointments, and closed revenue.
  • Attending product training to advance knowledge and continuing own training and outside resources to become relevant in the data as a service business.
  • Create email outreach templates, write email follow up messages, and respond with recaps and all client facing communications that leads to opportunities in the sales pipeline.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor, handle all tasks as needed and required by mgt.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field preferred but not required
  • 2-3 years Experience as Sales Development Representative within a Full SaaS or DaaS (Data-As-A Service) technology company
  • 2-3 years of telemarketing, customer service, call center agent, internet sales or business development sales experience preferred
  • Track record of successfully achieving monthly sales appointment goals and new prospect goals
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
  • Digital marketing and automotive advertising experience a plus
  • Experience working and the ability to prospect by phone and virtual meetings using Zoom, Teams
  • This position is remote, so you will be expected to be a self-starter, and provide detailed activity and performance of your daily results in Salesforce, etc.
  • Independent problem-solving skills, adaptivity to change and flexible
  • Some travel might be required 2-3 times per year
  • Must have a valid US drivers license
  • Must be 18yrs of age
